It is hereby understood that "the act of submitting your poems to Amrita gives Amrita authorization to publish in any of its' publications, projects or anthologies, singularly, seperately or sequentially; in electronic or print media" (otherwise, authors retain all rights).  Authors may include Amrita in their list of credits and/or portfolio of publications.
 
Copyright disclaimer:        Due to the obvious "anonymity of the internet", the authenticity to all copyright claims by the submitting authors are accepted on face value.  Amrita and its' contributing authors are protected under copyright laws. You may not copy, use or print any Amrita content without written permission from Amrita AND the poems author.
 
Payment/Fees:        Amrita never asks a fee of the authors nor does it pay a fee to authors for anything published.

Deadline:        A new issue is scheduled to greet each new month. Deadline is five days before the last day of each month. I will try my best to include last minute (or late) submissions, but if I can't, then look for them in the following issue.
 

  *Remember*  Amrita publishes on a deadline
  and I do NOT review any submitted material
  until the time I edit the monthly issue.
  Failure to CAREFULLY EDIT YOUR OWN
  poetry and follow these simple guidelines
  WILL cause your submission to miss the
  publishing deadline and it will be returned
  for YOU to edit and  re-submit before
  the next deadline... I won't be petty, but 
  my time is limited and I must be concerned
  with  getting everything finished ON TIME!
 
 

       NO pornographic, racist, racial supremest or demonic/cultest material is accepted.  I will not publish any material that may inspire someone to do harm to any form of;  life, nature or property.  All Poetry MUST be of a sincere nature (no computer generated or nonsensical verse). Poetry with tastful eroticism is welcome.
 

Limit:        Due to ever increasing popularity of the Anthology of Chat feature of the Amrita Poetry Page, we must now limit the number of submissions to Three poems per author for each monthly publication, any style, of reasonable length.
 
Format:    All submissions should be sent;

      NO "ALL CAPS" in the title OR the text body;  It is very unsightly and I try to give every poem submitted the best possible presentation...

      NO file attachments;  File attachments are too difficult to manage with my Prodigy Classic and cause too many dealys and storage problems...

      EACH AND EVERY POEM  to be sent on a SEPARATE email (this is the equivalent of a publisher asking for "each poem on a separate sheet or page."  AND; at the top of EACH PAGE,   I need you to place "the title of the poem,  your "real name (as it would appear on your legal copyright form) and your complete- e-mail address!    And then if you want to include your on-line chat-name as well I will post it.    All this helps me to better organize, publish and file all Amrita submissions...

      Please indicate "SUBMISSION" in the e-mail subject line... Most poems are aligned "Left" but sometimes center align suits a poem better and I will center if the author prefers it,  all poems will be posted in large,  bold,  readable font.

     I encourage readers to comment to you on your work, so please please put the title of each poem, and your real name and complete e-mail address (include your on-line chat name if you want) at the top of each and every submission; (your PO address is optional but may provide important information if I am contacted by a publisher and your e-mail is no longer available or valid; PO address's are NEVER posted or disclosed to anyone and kept confidential).
